Our Story
Hi everyone, I’m Ty! How’s it going? Very nice to meet you!
I’m an experienced coffee expert with over a decade of experience and thousands of cups served. I’ve seen firsthand how a good community space and a little kindness can change the trajectory of a person's day. I came up with the idea for Terrarium Coffee to build more space for that kindness to flourish. I’ve had many opportunities to shape the coffee programs at a handful of cafe establishments and I have always wanted to apply the knowledge and expertise gained to a cafe vision that is uniquely my own.

Thoughtfulness and Intentionality are core components to how everything functions at Terrarium Coffee. We care about the quality of our craft and every step of the process. We will pay fair, living wages to staff, encourage community , and equip them with the tools, knowledge, and training they need to provide superior customer service as well as expertly brewed and crafted coffee.
Excellent coffee and excellent service should not be exclusionary and unaffordable.
We care about the people and communities we serve. Terrarium Coffee will never put profit above both worker and customer satisfaction. We believe small businesses have the potential to effect positive social change.

We’re committed to offering high-quality products and genuine customer service, staying open to new opportunities that help us learn, grow, and evolve. Our goal is to continue building a brand people connect with as we move toward opening a physical storefront.
